Headteacher’s Message

Dear Glebe Families

As we approach the end of term and the Christmas break, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your ongoing support and partnership throughout what has been a truly memorable and successful term here at Glebe.

This year, we celebrated a significant milestone with our positive Ofsted inspection, which recognised the hard work and dedication of our incredible staff, as well as the enthusiasm and resilience of our pupils.  I am proud of what we have achieved together as a school community and your continued support has played an essential role in our success.  It truly is a team effort and we couldn’t have done it without you.

One of the things that makes Glebe so special is the strong sense of family and community that runs through everything we do.  This term has been a wonderful reminder of just how much we care for and support one another.  From the warmth and kindness shared among staff, pupils and families, to the laughter and joy we’ve experienced during our many events, it is clear that Glebe is a place where everyone belongs.

I would also like to acknowledge the personal challenges some of our families have faced this year.  Your strength, understanding and support have meant so much to us and I am incredibly grateful for the trust you place in us to care for and support your children.

As we head into the festive season, I hope you find time to relax and enjoy some well-deserved family time.  May this Christmas bring you peace, joy and memorable moments with those you love.  We look forward to welcoming the children back in the New Year, ready for another term of growth, learning and shared achievements.

Thank you once again for being such an important part of the Glebe family.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Warmest regards

Mr Clarke

Achievements

On Saturday, Ella and Elsie took part in a Christmas charity swim gala at their swimming club.  Both girls swam brilliantly whilst raising money for charity.  They both won heats to then enter the finals and both placed within the top 3 positions in the races they entered; these included front crawl, back stroke and the Christmas races!!  Well done girls, you swam so well and should be very proud of yourselves!

Well done to Amelia in Year 3 who had a match on Sunday and scored two goals, helping her team to win the game 4-3.  She was awarded Player of the Match!
