About Glebe Primary School

At our school, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional education that goes beyond the classroom. Our committed staff prioritise creating a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere where children can thrive.

We believe in fostering not only academic excellence but also nurturing intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. Our aim is to instill a lifelong love of learning in every child who walks through our doors.

We understand that education is about more than just textbooks and tests. It’s about nurturing the whole child and providing opportunities for growth, exploration, and discovery in a safe and supportive environment.

Join us in shaping the future of your child’s education. Together, let’s embark on a journey of learning, growth, and endless possibilities.

We welcome visits and visitors. If you would like to see what we do or join the Glebe adventure, please contact our school office on: 01268 784253. Alternatively, our email is: admin@glebeschool.com

We can’t wait to meet you!

Headteacher’s Welcome

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to you from all of us at Glebe Primary school. There is without question something very special about Glebe, and we take immense pride in our school community. Here, we work collaboratively to create a safe, happy, and vibrant environment where children can learn and thrive.
As the headteacher, I am honoured to lead such a vibrant and dynamic learning community dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child.
We have enormous fun in our learning experiences whether in the classroom, on the playground, on the sports field, or during one of our educational visits and topic enrichment days.
I am privileged to lead a team that is devoted to children’s well-being, setting high standards, and providing the very best opportunities for all of the children in our care.
At Glebe, we believe in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best. Our dedicated team are committed to fostering a love of learning, promoting creativity, and instilling the LEARN values of: Leadership, Excellence, Ambition, Resilience and Norms (Culture), in our children.
We pride ourselves on offering a rich and diverse curriculum that not only challenges and engages children academically but also fosters their personal and social development. From our mastery teaching approach to our wide range of extracurricular activities, we strive to provide opportunities for every child to explore their interests, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential by strengthening, broadening, and embedding a knowledge-rich, stimulating curriculum.
We understand the importance of strong partnerships between home and school, and we encourage open communication and collaboration with parents and carers. Together, we can ensure that each child receives the support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I hope that you enjoy exploring our website and reading about all the wonderful things that we do here at Glebe.  If you would like to find out more about us, please contact the school and make a convenient appointment; we will be delighted to welcome you!
