Welcome of Friends of Glebe Primary (FoGP)

FoGP is a UK registered charity 1016577. We are not part of the school, but our work supports it. Our trustee committee is currently made up of Glebe parents, school supporters and teaching staff. When your child joins Glebe, as parents and carers you automatically become a member of FoGP. Grandparents, other relatives and community friends can be members too!

What we do

We organise year-round fun events and activities for the children of Glebe and their families to enjoy, including Discos, Christmas Fayre and Summer Fête, Shopping Events at Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, Christmas Grotto, Quiz Night, Race Night and Treat Time.

All of the money we raise goes directly to fund experiences and equipment to benefit all of the children at Glebe. Recent donations FoGP has made include:

  • Replacing the KS2 Ace Space play equipment
  • Providing books for an updated reading scheme for the whole school
  • Gifting the annual Pantomime production
  • Providing British Sign Language signs for the playgrounds
  • Updating music equipment
  • Funding the Year 6 leavers party and gifts for leavers

How to help

Firstly, follow, like and share our Facebook page to get first view of our events and offers!

Glebe parents and carers provide us fantastic support! If you can spare the occasional hour here and there to help at a disco, run a stall at a fayre, wrap some presents, source prizes or help with some crafts, please consider joining FoGPs.

Fundraising Friends

Like a zero hours contract, there is no obligation to help at any time. If interested, please send your details to friendsofglebe@gmail.com or send us a direct message on Facebook.
