Headteachers message

Another busy week here at Glebe to finish the term. The children have enjoyed another Core Values with rockets, temples and bubbles. They certainly looked to be having a great time.

I had the pleasure of working with a Year 6 Maths group this week. I was blown away by their knowledge of converting and ordering fractions, decimals and percentages. As SATSapproaches, I have every confidence in them.

It’s been nice seeing the brighter evenings and the warmer weather arrive – I hope this continues for the Easter break.

Wishing you all a fun -packed and restful holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 17th April.

Updates

Unfortunately, the number of children attending Friday After school club, after 4:15pm is not sustainable for the school from a financial point of view. From After Easter, Friday after-school club will finish at 4:30pm every week. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. It was a difficult decision but does mean we can avoid a steep rise in prices. I really do appreciate your understanding.
