Headteachers message

We’ve had another productive and incredibly busy week at Glebe. Well Done to the Football teams who showed great resilience in the rain!

I’ve enjoyed another Friday teaching in Year 3 for guided reading where children impress me consistently with their summary, retrieval and developing inference knowledge.

Thank you for your patience and support with the industrial action this week. On Tuesday we will roll with the same model.

The new website has gone live! From next week, we hope to use the website as our platform for newsletters.

Next Friday, children will be celebrating the King’s coronation. We all very excited about a themed day when children can dress in red, white or blue, or as their favourite King or Queen.

Have a lovely Bank holiday weekend and see you on Tuesday!

E-Safety

Please remember that many groups such as WhatsApp are for pupils of 13 years and older only!

Mental Health Awareness

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness week from 15th May, we will be ‘Wearing Green’ in school. The ‘Wear Green’ non uniform event will take place on Thursday 18th May.

Where possible, we would ask families to make a voluntary donation of £1per child for this nonuniform event. Please make this donation in cash on the day. Thank you all for your support.

Car Park

Please ensure you supervise your children all times before and after school. There has been an increase of children playing in and around the car park which poses a risk to both pedestrians, drivers and the children.

School Lunch

Next week will be on Week 3 of the new Spring/Summer Caterlink Dinner Menu. Please note the change of menu on Tuesday 2 May.
